Palmer's Little Man Bohman Stands Tall As Moose Trample Anchorage West Season Opener

Not many 5-foot-6 running backs stand out on a high school football field. But, don't tell that to Palmer High running back Haakan Bohman, who ran around and over Anchorage West defenders Friday for 260 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Moose to a 40-20 win in the season opener for both teams.

Bohman led a powerful Palmer rushing attack that amassed 511-yards, but in the second half it was the Moose defense that came-up big with three interceptions of West quarterback Sven Solberg, who threw for 277-yards and two touchdowns.
