The High School Football Huddle
Today is the last day of the regular season in Alaska, but there's plenty to be decided. First there's the Big Schools showdown between Anchorage West (7-0, 6-0) and Anchorage South (6-1, 5-1) will battle for the CIC championship and top seed in next week's quarterfinal round of playoffs. On the Small Schools side, #1 Kenai (7-0) hosts three-time defending champ Soldotna (5-2), which has only two losses to Big Schools playoff qualifiers West and Colony.Friday night, Juneau-Douglas, North Pole and Monroe wrapped-up playoff berths with victories.
