Wasilla senior Joe Barkley intercepted three passes Friday night at Wasilla opened the Alaska High School football season with a 41-6 win over Eagle River. While Barkley led the defense, Warrior quarterback Adrese Lavern led the offense with three touchdown passes in the second half.
