South To Face Colony For Big Schools Title

It took South Anchorage High School only three short years to make a mark on Alaska's high school football scene.

South, which opened in 2004, advanced to next week's Big Schools title game with a 27-6 win over defending champ Juneau in Saturday's state semfinals. It's the fastest any program has advanced to a championship game.

South, which is now 10-0 will play Colony (9-1) next Saturday at 1pm at Anchorage Football Stadium.
